I'll paint these grayish, boring streets
the same red of my hair -- using you blood. oh my. I finished this yesterday, but it was late and i had to study a bit more for Organics, so I could only upload it today. i did so weeeeeell.  after i left the exam, the teacher looked at it and said, "that was exactly what i wanted", or so i heard from another.  those are the times i'm proud of being the Chemist I am. C: ♥enough of the geek talk. after i finished coloring her, i had no idea for the background. I tried making a cute, colorful bridge with a port city on the back. I was in the middle of the way when I realized it was gonna be a boring pic. BORING, ya hear me? so i changed it. i wanted to draw "streets". i started off with the plaque -NO ESCAPE-, and then the basic of the streets. then drew the blood out of a sudden, which turned the image quite dark and made me change her colors -lower down the brightness and stuff- so that she could "fit" the bg. so i just started adding details, details, details, added more blood to the plaque and to the ground, and tadaa. it was done. if you want the progress, i can show... funny thing is, the image was SO happy and cheerful in the beginning. now it's dark and scary. i'll probably do the "light" version, too x) i'm proud of that bg, srsly. i see a red door and i wanna paint it black ♪ SAI + Photoshop CS2 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
